Ph.D. Pavel Slepukhin graduated from the Cheliabinsk State University in 1999, and maintained his Ph.D degree (Candidate of Chemical Sciences) in 2005 at the Institute of Organic Synthesis under the guidance of Prof. Valery N. Charushin.
Activity of Pavel Slepukhin during the next years to deal with development on Urals Branch of Russian Academy of Sciences X-Ray structural analysis of organic compounds. As young specialist he has been working in the Laboratory of X-Ray Analysis in Institute of Inorganic and Elementorganic Compounds Chemistry RAS (Moscow) under the guidance of Dr. M.Yu. Antipin. After this practice he was assumed as squad leader group of X-Ray analysis in Institute of Organic Syntesis UB RAS.

 

Current research interests

 

of Ph.D. Slepukhin lay in the field of heterocyclic and structural chemistry. In particular, he accomplish investigation of structures azines, their salts, σ^H-adducts of nucleophiles into azines as key intermediates in S_N^H reactions, polinuclear complexes d- and f-elements with organic ligands as potential molecular magnets.
Ph.D P.A. Slepukhin is author of over 100 publications in the fields of heterocyclic chemistry and X-Ray structural analysis of organic compounds in “Tetrahedron”, “European Journal of Organic Chemistry”, “Mendeleev Communications”, “Journal of Structural Chemistry”, “Russian Chemical Bulletin”, “Russian Journal of Organic Chemistry” and other periodic issues
